Hi Everyone,
Firstly thank you to everyone we have heard from recently and have applied for the craft market. We are really pleased to have had so many applications and such a wide range of work. If you are reading this and you still haven’t applied for the market we urge you to do so soon, we have not set a final application date yet but it is
something we are looking at doing soon. If you are unable to do the
fair on the 28th but are still interested in being part of the I Make Fun Stuff collective and may want to be part of a fair in the future please apply and just let us know you cant make it this time. We will then have all your details ready for the next fair.
Okay, down to the important news. The pitch price has finally been decided and it will be…. dun dun dun… £20. For this you will get a pitch for the day, opening at 10am and ending at 4pm. Tables will be supplied and they are 5ft wide. We encourage you to cover your table
and decorate your stall to make the event as exciting to look at as it
will be to attend so as to attract as many customers as possible!! We
will be having a banner on the outside of the galleries and advertising the event far and wide and through many different forums.
We have kept the price of the pitch low as we have experience of losing money at fairs due to the high price of pitches so we hope that you find £20 very agreeable!!
That’s all for now! Don’t forget to apply for the market !!

Hello everyone!
We have news! The fair will take place on Saturday 28th November in Gallery One at the Town Hall Galleries Ipswich. This is a very central location so we hope to attract a lot of customers due to being in the centre of the town and through lots of advertising work on our part!
If you want a pitch for the day click the “application form” button at the top of the page and fill in all the details.
We only have 10 pitches to offer this time as it is a small space but if the fair is a success and we hope it is, we should be able to move to a much larger space in the new year. We do want to make as many contacts as possible so if you aren’t successful this time please don’t give up on us as we will be in a situation to offer you a pitch in the future as long as this first fair is much as a success as we hope.
The only thing we can’t confirm with you at the moment is the price of the pitch. We are clearing up some things with the venue about insurance cover for the event and do not know as of yet if we will have to pay out for that or not. BUT we are looking for sponsors to keep all the costs down for us and for you guys too! We are battling to make sure the pitches are a reasonable price for you as we have experience of making very little profit thanks to high pitch prices at other fairs. We will update soon as we have news.
Thank you
Jess & Chris
Hi everyone,
Just thought we’d give you a brief update of where we are at the moment. We know we haven’t corresponded with you all for a while!
We’ve been working really hard to secure an excellent central Ipswich venue to hold the fair. We’ve made a lot of progress there and have had some excellent feedback and offers of support from local authorities, makers, businesses and organisations.
We had hoped we’d have some more concrete news for you in the last few weeks but frustratingly there always seems to be little niggling things stopping us from confirming everything with you all. We have ideas of dates, number of pitches and the venue but won’t be releasing information until we have the last bits and bobs confirmed.
We don’t want to get your hopes up until we know for sure that this is the venue, the date and the pitch prices. Annoying things like red tape are holding us back but we are getting it sorted.
Please keep checking back here and your email for the big news.
Thank you!
Jess & Chris
