Thank you so much to everyone involved in the Saints Street Market.
We were truly blown anyway by the brilliant new work the sellers had created, how fantastic the street looked, how the shops on the street embraced the idea and most importantly how many people came down to check it out.
It was a truly brilliant day, we made some fantastic new friends and our heads are buzzing as to how we can make sure our next event tops this one (its going to be a challenge).
The market isnt going to be our only focus now though, we’ve got some really exciting plans for this very website, so if you are interested in writing about art, crafts, design and/or local events please get in contact with us.
Thank you again to you all!
The Saints Street market is but a week away, this is a really big deal for us, we’ve teamed up with the brilliant LoveOne and the incredible people at IP-Art as well as the fantastic local businesses to put on an event we hope is going to be really quite special.

As an added bonus, as the event is on Sunday you can take advantage of Ipswich Central’s £1 all day car parking in Foundation Street Car Park. More details here
Good News All!
We have just finalised the information for our third market. The Saints Summer Street Market! This wonderous event is to be held on St Peters’ Street in Ipswich on Sunday 27th June as part of the launch of Ip-Art the annual Ipswich Arts Festival. The street will be closed for the day but the businesses will be open and we will have 20 stalls of super duper goodies! We have some of our favourite sellers from the second market plus new ones and there will be music, live performances, food and other entertainment going on throughout the day. It is sure to be a great day of events to keep you amused all day and our purpose is to bring you fantastic products and art work from local artists and makers with a little bit of vintage thrown in for good measure! Doesn’t that all just sound great! We just hope the weather holds out for us too!
Find out about the event in the Ip-Art publications and look out for our posters around town and the surrounding area.
Jess & Chris
Hello everyone,
First off a couple of apologies. Firstly sorry for the lack of updates on here, the two of us that run the fair have just moved into our first house together so we have been ridiculously busy as you can imagine. Secondly it appears that the site hasnt been working for some people, this was an issue with a plugin that only appeared in Internet Explorer so being mac users we didn’t pick it up as quickly as we should of.
Anyway enough of that and onto the exciting stuff. The second fair is fully confirmed and filling up with lovely lovely people, we’ve got loads more space this time so if we want a pitch there may still be room to fit you in. Pitches are only £20 and you can apply by filling out the form in this site or by emailing us at imakefunstuff@googlemail.com
And here is the lovely new poster, if you know somewhere it should be put up or you want us to send you some flyers and/or posters then let us know.

Thanks
Chris and Jess
We are now on the look out for new people for our second fair. After the sucess of the first fair we have moved to a larger space and will hopefully have a few exciting surprises up our sleeves.
So if you make some new, interesting, exciting or something retro but still cool then get in touch.
Either fill out the application form on this site or drop us an email at imakefunstuff at googlemail dot com
Please send us pictures if you have them. We try really hard to get a good mix of people so we don’t harm peoples chances of selling and so visitors have a good variety of things to buy.
Thanks
Chris and Jess
I make fun stuff
Today was our first ever craft fair and we are happy to report it was a huge success.
Everyone involved made profit, we had over 700 people through the door and generally it was a fab day.
We had some great feedback and our brains are already ticking as to what we can do next.
Most of all a MASSIVE thank you to all our amazing stall holders for bringing their wonderful products and an equally massive thank you to everyone who came through the door.
Watch this space theres plenty more to come from I Make Fun Stuff!!
Photos to come!!
The countdown is on, the promotion is getting frantic, across suffolk makers are putting the finishing touches to amazing products.
I make fun stuff’s first ever craft market is happening THIS SATURDAY, at the Town Hall Galleries in Ipswich from 10am to 4pm.
Please come and say hi, have a browse and if you’re really nice buy something.
Theres more than the craft market going on in the Town Hall so we will all hopefully have an amazing day!
If you applied for the fair then you should know either way now whether you are in or not. If you haven’t please send us an email.
We’ve put a gallery up of people work some who are appearing at the first event and others that we really hope we can involve in future events.
We’re getting really exciting about it all now, plans are being finalised, posters printed and products made.
On the subject of posters and flyers if you know somewhere we can promote ourselves then please get in touch. Were working really hard but there will always be places we miss.
On a side note have a quick look at our good friends lielow and sketch who have some brilliant events coming up during October.
Applications are now closed for this fair. We will let you know the status of your application by Wednesday.
A MASSIVE thank you to anyone who has applied or showed any kind of interest. We weren’t sure we were going to get this off the ground but we’ve been really inspired.
If you’ve missed the deadline please still get in touch. Were planning to do much more in the future and the more people we have interested the more we can do.
Applications will be accepted until Monday 5th October.
You will all find out if you have been invited this time or will have to wait til the next market by Wednesday 7th October.
Thank you all very much for applying. Please bear in mind we only have 10 stalls this time and so our hands are tied, we’d love to have everyone but it just isn’t possible on this occasion. Don’t give up on us though, we do want to make the market bigger and better!
