Hello everyone,
First off a couple of apologies. Firstly sorry for the lack of updates on here, the two of us that run the fair have just moved into our first house together so we have been ridiculously busy as you can imagine. Secondly it appears that the site hasnt been working for some people, this was an issue with a plugin that only appeared in Internet Explorer so being mac users we didn’t pick it up as quickly as we should of.
Anyway enough of that and onto the exciting stuff. The second fair is fully confirmed and filling up with lovely lovely people, we’ve got loads more space this time so if we want a pitch there may still be room to fit you in. Pitches are only £20 and you can apply by filling out the form in this site or by emailing us at imakefunstuff@googlemail.com
And here is the lovely new poster, if you know somewhere it should be put up or you want us to send you some flyers and/or posters then let us know.

Thanks
Chris and Jess
We are now on the look out for new people for our second fair. After the sucess of the first fair we have moved to a larger space and will hopefully have a few exciting surprises up our sleeves.
So if you make some new, interesting, exciting or something retro but still cool then get in touch.
Either fill out the application form on this site or drop us an email at imakefunstuff at googlemail dot com
Please send us pictures if you have them. We try really hard to get a good mix of people so we don’t harm peoples chances of selling and so visitors have a good variety of things to buy.
Thanks
Chris and Jess
I make fun stuff
Today was our first ever craft fair and we are happy to report it was a huge success.
Everyone involved made profit, we had over 700 people through the door and generally it was a fab day.
We had some great feedback and our brains are already ticking as to what we can do next.
Most of all a MASSIVE thank you to all our amazing stall holders for bringing their wonderful products and an equally massive thank you to everyone who came through the door.
Watch this space theres plenty more to come from I Make Fun Stuff!!
Photos to come!!
The countdown is on, the promotion is getting frantic, across suffolk makers are putting the finishing touches to amazing products.
I make fun stuff’s first ever craft market is happening THIS SATURDAY, at the Town Hall Galleries in Ipswich from 10am to 4pm.
Please come and say hi, have a browse and if you’re really nice buy something.
Theres more than the craft market going on in the Town Hall so we will all hopefully have an amazing day!
If you applied for the fair then you should know either way now whether you are in or not. If you haven’t please send us an email.
We’ve put a gallery up of people work some who are appearing at the first event and others that we really hope we can involve in future events.
We’re getting really exciting about it all now, plans are being finalised, posters printed and products made.
On the subject of posters and flyers if you know somewhere we can promote ourselves then please get in touch. Were working really hard but there will always be places we miss.
On a side note have a quick look at our good friends lielow and sketch who have some brilliant events coming up during October.
Applications are now closed for this fair. We will let you know the status of your application by Wednesday.
A MASSIVE thank you to anyone who has applied or showed any kind of interest. We weren’t sure we were going to get this off the ground but we’ve been really inspired.
If you’ve missed the deadline please still get in touch. Were planning to do much more in the future and the more people we have interested the more we can do.
Applications will be accepted until Monday 5th October.
You will all find out if you have been invited this time or will have to wait til the next market by Wednesday 7th October.
Thank you all very much for applying. Please bear in mind we only have 10 stalls this time and so our hands are tied, we’d love to have everyone but it just isn’t possible on this occasion. Don’t give up on us though, we do want to make the market bigger and better!
I Make Fun Stuff Craft Market is on

Town Hall Galleries, Cornhill, Ipswich.
10am – 4pm
Pitches are £20
Please apply through the electronic application on this website if you want to take part in this fair or any in the future. Thank you.
Hi Everyone,
Firstly thank you to everyone we have heard from recently and have applied for the craft market. We are really pleased to have had so many applications and such a wide range of work. If you are reading this and you still haven’t applied for the market we urge you to do so soon, we have not set a final application date yet but it is
something we are looking at doing soon. If you are unable to do the
fair on the 28th but are still interested in being part of the I Make Fun Stuff collective and may want to be part of a fair in the future please apply and just let us know you cant make it this time. We will then have all your details ready for the next fair.
Okay, down to the important news. The pitch price has finally been decided and it will be…. dun dun dun… £20. For this you will get a pitch for the day, opening at 10am and ending at 4pm. Tables will be supplied and they are 5ft wide. We encourage you to cover your table
and decorate your stall to make the event as exciting to look at as it
will be to attend so as to attract as many customers as possible!! We
will be having a banner on the outside of the galleries and advertising the event far and wide and through many different forums.
We have kept the price of the pitch low as we have experience of losing money at fairs due to the high price of pitches so we hope that you find £20 very agreeable!!
That’s all for now! Don’t forget to apply for the market !!
Jess & Chris
Hello everyone!
We have news! The fair will take place on Saturday 28th November in Gallery One at the Town Hall Galleries Ipswich. This is a very central location so we hope to attract a lot of customers due to being in the centre of the town and through lots of advertising work on our part!
If you want a pitch for the day click the “application form” button at the top of the page and fill in all the details.
We only have 10 pitches to offer this time as it is a small space but if the fair is a success and we hope it is, we should be able to move to a much larger space in the new year. We do want to make as many contacts as possible so if you aren’t successful this time please don’t give up on us as we will be in a situation to offer you a pitch in the future as long as this first fair is much as a success as we hope.
The only thing we can’t confirm with you at the moment is the price of the pitch. We are clearing up some things with the venue about insurance cover for the event and do not know as of yet if we will have to pay out for that or not. BUT we are looking for sponsors to keep all the costs down for us and for you guys too! We are battling to make sure the pitches are a reasonable price for you as we have experience of making very little profit thanks to high pitch prices at other fairs. We will update soon as we have news.
Thank you
Jess & Chris
